This site was created by Dr. Margaret Procter, University of Toronto Coordinator of Writing Support. She is the principal author of material for the site and still maintains the Faculty section. 

Jerry Plotnick, Director of the University College Writing Centre, has served as Webmaster since 1999. He was responsible for redesigning the site in the winter and spring of 2009. The Faculty of Arts and Science funded his work from 1999 through June 2009.

The site is implemented using the content management system Joomla! version 1.5.

Marc Lalonde provided key technical support throughout the original development of this site in the late 1990s.

Chad Holden and Vicki Vokas of Web Services helped design the banner of the current site and provided guidance in the initial stages of the redesign.

Paul Morrison, Computing Services Coordinator at University College, and Joel Crocker were responsible for converting the site to Joomla. They provided invaluable advice and technical support prior to and throughout the conversion. Paul and Joel continue to provide technical support for the day-to-day operation of the site.

The position of webmaster was funded in 2009-10 through the generous financial support of the University of Toronto's writing centres.

University College kindly hosts the site on its web server and funds the site's technical support staff.
