Undergraduates in the Arts and Sciences programs on all three campuses may choose from a number of credit courses in writing, including some in creative writing as well as in composition and rhetoric. Most give Humanities credits. Some of the courses are part of academic programs (see the listings for Professional Writing and Communication and Writing and Rhetoric), though students do not need to be enrolled in these programs to take the courses. Look in the calendars for the St. George, Mississauga, and Scarborough campuses for further information about courses mentioned here. If you are in a professional faculty, check your own calendar to see whether you can take one of these courses as an elective. Explore the following courses and programs:
The University of Toronto's ArtsZone website also lists creative and professional writing opportunities available to both undergraduate and graduate students on all three campuses. |
