Writing Plus Workshops: Essay Writing from Start to Finish

9:30 to 10:30 am: Understanding the Assignment – Making sense of essay topics – getting on the right track from the start
10:45 to 11:45 am: Finding Scholarly Sources – Strategies for finding and identifying the most useful research sources
12 to 1 pm: Developing your Thesis – How to write clear, focused, forceful thesis statements (and how not to!)
The St. George Campus College Writing Centres, in collaboration with University of Toronto Libraries, the Career Centre, English Language Learning, and the Academic Success Centre, are offering this campus-wide series of academic skills workshops to the University’s entire student body. All workshops are free and there is no need to pre-register. Come for one, or come for all!
